Truth & Reconciliation Series at the 4R Open Lab

We would like to invite Art Education students, staff, and faculty to join us for two exciting events next week as part of our Truth & Reconciliation Series at the 4R Open Lab: 1. Truth Co-Creation Workshop Tuesday, September 27th, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm Join artist-in-residence, artist and art educator Marg Boyle, for a collaborative art-making workshop and sharing circle on the truth of colonization and genocide of Indigenous nations in North America. Tiny Orange Shirts - A Transnational Invitation Wednesday, September 28th, 5 pm -7 pm Learn and make alongside one another as guest speaker Dr. Shannon Leddy (UBC) introduces the Orange Shirt Project, to the Concordia community. This project is an “ongoing invitation to witness the truth about how many, to come to understand, and then begin to live reconciliation” (Orange Shirt Project, 2022). Learn with Dr. Leddy as we begin making tiny orange shirts together in the space.
