Shannon Roy is a photographer, painter, and art teacher from Calgary, Alberta. In her work, she explores the effect of emotion on mark-making and enjoys using the juxtaposition between the veracity of photography and Abstract Expressionism's spontaneity. Shannon's current body of work analyzes the idea of "home," and its effects on an artist's output.
