Marguerite Marion-Reyes

Marguerite Marion-Reyes is a Chilean-Canadian visual artist, educator and researcher who is currently a candidate at Concordia University for a MA in Art Education. With a life of ongoing travels from Chile to Canada and back forth, her work focuses on the memory of places and objects involving distance, time, and geography. She works mainly on metal sculptures and installations. Nevertheless, photography, paper, and new media are also among her interests. Marguerite’s research interests on one hand are art classroom memory through storytelling and objects, and also critical museology regarding exhibition experiences for children.
